Haha xD no worries Hun! The meet is all about hanging out and having fun! Bringing ponies and such doesn't matter it's just a little fun extra thing! At least that's how I see it. lol will you be joining us for the after dinner?

I'm honestly not sure... Amy and I might head home for some D&D geekiness... but she has to figure out if that is happening or not. But I do hope to be joining you!

I just got all my baking done!  I'm working tomorrow night late and I need to be able to go to bed as early as possible!  So, baking was tonight! 

I have mini apple muffins and banana cheesecake bread, and both gluten free.

I attempted a tart as well, but the crust didn't set up right at all, far too crumbly if absolutely delicious.  I may yet be able to turn it into something else ( maybe a full on cheesecake?! ), oh the joys of gluten free baking.

Oh!  And I just had an idea, and I can't believe it didn't hit me sooner!

I wanted to do something savory and least somewhat meal like too.  How is everyone on rice?

I have a portable rice cooker, not REALLY big, but it can cook up a good pot of rice, and I can make curry rice with it so it's nice and tasty and not just plain old rice.  Everything that goes into it is dry pantry.  GF soy sauce, siracha, green curry paste, can of coconut milk, some lemongrass and dried shitakes, and of course, rice.  If I remember right, we do have some vegetarians in the crowd?  So, I will skip bringing a carton of chicken stock and some fish stock? 

I could also do Mexican rice too, if that would be preferable?  Nomnom is doing veggie chili, so that would maybe go with that a bit better?  Or I could make some corn muffins tomorrow night. . .  Or both. . .

Banana cheesecake bread?! I think I love you, that sounds amazing. 
I can't eat curry- anything spicy destroys my mouth I love rice though,  rice and veggiez mmmm

Oh my gosh those sound heavenly, MiRaja! I am going to be eating good this weekend! Lol silly: cannot wait to try all of this food ;D I put a vote in for Mexican rice as well! Curry does not agree well with me

I really hope this chili turns out okay! It is cooking in the crock pot now and looks super watery. Here's hoping it thickens up :x I am not cut out for this whole cooking thing! Lol I am so bad at it

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it this year after all. My grandpa has been battling cancer related issues for a long time and he's taken a sudden downturn today. I wish I could attend but I need to be there for my family. You lovelies have a good time, please share pictures so I can live vicariously through you!

MiRaja -- wow, that all sounds amazing! I am a vegetarian, so anything in vegetarian form would be great. Iris Patch -- I am so, so sorry to hear that. I was excited to see you again, but this definitely is a good reason not to come.

BTW, today I discovered that all MLP products are on sale at Kroger! What an awkward coincidence! My Kroger only had two Rainbow Dashes (and a couple of EG Dolls) and a box of BB ponies... but still. It was interesting that when I went in to get my snack contributions for the meet I happened to notice the MLP sale.
