Seeking **PHOTOS** of Whinny Winks Inn Stickers
« on: July 10, 2014, 10:08:10 AM »
Hi there!  I have a Petite Ponies Whinny Winks Inn that is sadly missing a few of its original stickers - the one on the rooftop and the one on the inside of the flip-down wall.

I am confident that I could make decent replications of them myself, since I have the software, design skills, and blank stickers necessary for such a project; however, I would first need close-up, high-resolution, color photos to use as my guides.

Insofar, I have been unable to find such photos on the web, as Petitie Ponies are somewhat of a niche MLP collection.  If anyone has a Whinny Winks Inn and could send me high-resolution photos of these two stickers, I'd be ever so grateful!

I have one! I can take pictures tonight. My stickers are a bit damaged from time (I've had it since I bought it in stores), so if you make replica stickers, would you send me the files to print myself, as well? This is actually my photo: http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Whinny_Winks_Inn

That would be awesome!! Thank you! You can message them to me here or, if it is easier, just send directly to me at jillrose213 (at) gmail dot com.  (I do not think that the minor "time" damage on your stickers will hinder this endeavor :) )

So cool that your photos are featured on wiki.  I have the read-hair version of Little Flitter, and my furniture is aqua and pink instead of yellow and lavender!  This was my first Petite set ever, given to me at my 7th birthday party back in *cringe* 1991.  I am not sure why I removed two of the original stickers, because I took very good care of my sets and did not often do something so foolish.  I have rekindled my love of Petite collecting this year, and so I am eager to make repairs on this house!

I absolutely will be willing to share the sticker graphics with you once they are ready.  It is going to take me quite awhile, which is why it would also be helpful if I could save your message with the photos in my gmailbox as a constant reminder of sorts ;) but I will try to work on them as quickly as possible when I have pockets of time at work (where my software is).

Yaaay! :)

I'll send them to your gmail. I hope I can get adequate photos for you - please let me know if any of them need to be retaken and I will do so. I am going to the MLP Fair in Nashville, though, so I won't be able to retake any til Tuesday. And I am not in a rush to replace these stickers on my own set, so please take your time.

Also, curious on your thoughts of submitting them to the playset stickers section on MLP Restoration Project - they have some Petite Pony ones, but not the Whinny Winks Inn (because I've looked). Of course, that is up to you! Just a suggestion, since I work in software, I am very into open-sourcing things. :)

The photos are great! And yes, I am all for sharing the recreated stickers under the MLP restoration portal. Petites are my f-a-v-r-o-r-i-t-e-s and never receive enough love!  ^.^

Have fun at the MLP fair!!! (If you see the set of four 1997 Toy Fair Petites for sale and are not looking to add them to your own collection...please snag them for me. Wishful thinking ;) )
