Pet portraits-can you recommend some artists?

This is an extremely emotional topic for me right now so I'm just going to try to keep it really straight forward. I'm looking for an artist who can paint realistic pet portraits, preferably in oils on canvas. My budget is $150, but preferably a little less as I would like to get a second one for my sister. I've been looking on etsy and these are some shops I have found:

Honestly, it's a lot. I don't even know how to begin choosing. I'm so lost right now and could really use some direction. Has anyone used these artists before? Or could recommend someone else? I want these to be professional quality, actual artwork to hang on the wall. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

BlueSeaArts looks like nice quality, and good prices. I like all the info in "Shop Announcement"- very helpful and transparent.

Lamanda and Melia looks like they also do very nice work within a reasonable price range, and have more sales and good reviews.

Some of the others I looked at seemed out of your budget, or unable to complete a custom painting in a timely manner.

I commissioned flowersinherhair to do a watecolor of my dogs and it came out just perfect. http://longhair.deviantart.com/art/Milo-Ava-and-Penny-360889370. If memory serves, I think I paid $100.

I wish I could help, but I'm not familiar with any of the artists and I'm afraid new suggestions would only complicate the choice further (though I'm happy to provide some DA links if you like). I agree with ponyqueen's reviews, however, and I hope the thread Zenna linked gives you some more viable options.
