I only feel bad when I see a little girl in the store and I'm worried that I'm taking a potential toy away from her.

I don't buy G4 toys but I do love the mlp Plushies. As for buying in flea markets I don't really care what people think. I'm not hurting anyone. Most of my bf's collegues thought it was odd but they soon came around when they saw my collection. One even brought me some photos from when she was little and had a mlp themed birthday party ^^ The only one who took a while to come around to it (and is still not fully on board) is my boyfriend himself. He lectures in a university so he is into all conferences and marking and I'm sitting there combing a mlp toy's hair . To be fair on him though he supports me and doesn't discourage me. He just makes sure that EVERYONE knows that it is me who is the mlp fanatic and he has nothing to do with it
One word...Nope! I have no shame and am proud of it! Admittedly, I have gotten weird looks from cashiers/vendors before and have to end up explaining myself. The funniest incident was at a used bookstore where I bought three or four pony books (one of which was G1!), and the cashier literally came out and told me, before I even said anything, "You know those are for little kids." I mean, seriously? For all he knew, I could have been buying them for a little kid! Then I had to explain--"I know they're for little kids..."--but I think he was still a bit weirded out by the fact that a teenager was buying rainbow-y picture books for a toy collection...
