Who is this G4 Pegasus? Official Box Art Inside

I freely admit I havn't seen all the G4 episdoes.
I've got some G4s, but not all so if this is a obvious thing.....sorry about that.

Anyway, I recently splurged & used a gift certificate to get "Chinese Pinky" because I'm a sucker for super fancy display boxes, and intricate designs on ponies. I'm sort of bummed that "its another Pinkie" the pony everyone already has a billion of...but she's actually really cool. I got to looking at her box though, and the edges have the "Mane 6" plus Celestia. Of course it needs her. So then you're EXPECTING Luna (Luna's cool!) but instead you get this

Who is that pegasus?
Her symbol (like everyone's) is duplicated into the top corner there so you can see it real well.
Why do they think she's important enough to put her with the mane 6?
Why didn't they use Luna, a 'sort of mane' character (or DJ Pon-3, or Cheerilee or well...anyone more recognizable)?
Is there a toy of her somewhere? (there should be--if she made the box art)

That's Periwinkle, and she was only released as a G4 Blind Bag and a G3 brushable.  I have no idea why Hasbro put her on the box though...

My second favorite G3 Periwinkle. Sad that she never made it past the BB stage in G4.
Cool to see her being featured but an odd choice.

Carcina is right as G3 she was not a Pegasus    It would be great if as a G4 she becomes one!!

There's actually a fakie of that particular blindbag nowadays, which is virtually impossible to tell from the real thing, so you might be in luck.

I always hope the facts he popped up on this was a sign she would get something other than her blind bag release but I have a feeling it was just a random symbol popped on random line art She is adorable as a pegasus though.
