Have you ever thought of the generations this way?

I was looking at my ponies the other day and thought, what if like in real life, in the pony world, the older generations are passed and gone, and the newer ones are currently alive?

I didn't read past this first question. As soon as I saw it, I new it was true. I took all my G1s, 2s, and 3s out to the back yard and buried them. I then said a few poetic (but meaningless) words about how they had touched everyone's lives and began wailing. It was a beautiful service, and I was beautiful in it. Funerals are never fun, but I'm so glad I finally had an excuse to wear my new hat the the little black veil. I sent something to the paper, but I still haven't seen anything written in the obituaries. Oh well, I'm sure they're just tied up.

I really like the idea that G1 was in the distant past to G4, though I also like the idea of alternate worlds or tectonic theory.  It's nice to pick and choose depending on your mood that day!
