Baby necklace elastics

I have a few of G1 babies that originally came with elastics with rattles. Now I have some of their rattles but no elastics. What can I use instead of them? I check some hair elastics in Target but those look more thick. Please, give me some ideas!

Try a craft store.  They often have many different gauges of wire and string for making necklaces.  They might have what you're looking for.  Michaels or Hobby Lobby come to mind.  Good luck!

You will find something small enough eventually.

I found the ones I used before I got originals - a packet of blue and pink and white elastics which were perfect in size and colour [only a little too wide] - in the kids department at a department store. Completely random finding. The colours and size you want will probably turn up in a childrens selection rather than anywhere else. There is no brand or anything specific to track down, you really just need to try different stores and sources until you find some which work for you.

Alternatively a little bit of 5mm ribbon tied will work too

I like the way they look on ribbons too I had a hair band similar to the elastics that I used on Fleecy (Speckles) since I was a kid but somehow it rusted and left a mark on my poor baby. I'm not sure if or how it would have got wet.
