Paypal holding my money but I did nothing wrong?

I logged in to paypal today and got this message:

 "While you establish a successful eBay sales history, you may not have access to your money for up to 21 days. You may get it sooner, but it may take longer if your buyer reports a problem with the sale."

I have been selling on ebay for over a decade and using paypal almost as long. I have no cases against me from any buyer past or present so that's not an issue either. Anyone know why they are doing this? The only thing I can think of is it is related to that weird ebay thing about a week ago where they made me register a credit card.

I wonder if it has something to do with the card that you added. I would give them a call and talk to some one. That is your best bet

I would say its either due to the new card, or possibly a weird glitch. Giving them a call  to find out exactly what caused the funds to be held  is probably your best option

that happened to me as well.  and i was told it wasbecuase i didnt have a bank account hooked to my account.
