Why does practically everyone think G3 Rainbow Dash liked fashion?

I think its mostly a Core 7 thing. They dumbed down the ponies to make them more "girly" I guess.

Me toooooo omg, and when they did that flashback episode they went back to clips of all the old episodes and dubbed over her old awesome voice with her new horrible one! D: My poor dahling Rainbow!

While she was into fashion, it was more of a G3.5/Core 7 thing.  The song probably doesn't help, especially when combined with the former's accent since a lot of people don't realize the differences between the two.  You would hire G3 Rainbow Dash to decorate your house or the town park.  You'd hire G3.5 Rainbow Dash to sew a dress.

  Not really, she never really mentioned fashion at all. The closest she got is what everyone else said.  Hope you don't think I'm singling you out.

My daughter and I have been watching the movies lately. I'd have to watch again to pick out specific examples, but she reminds me of a G4 Rarity trapped in a G3 RD body.

Venus Terzo's 'DAhling' personality, combine with the core 7 'dresses in style' shtick did it. Despite the fact BOTH her and Sew and Sew, G3's TRUE fashion designer, were both in the stage show together. Dash will forever be remembered as that gens fashion pony even though her thing was more rainbow colors- I mean the one video game had her as a KITE MAKER! o_O
