Play by Play Pony Plushies

I visited Den Haag today in the Netherlands and went to the dutch Toy Store called "Intertoys", I saw that they had plushies. We just got the small Famosa Plushies, but these looked well... different,

They really did look the same as the small Famosa ones. Only the hair is way more fluffy. They also had a larger Twilight and Rainbow Dash one. Then I saw Rainbow Dash Didn't have any wings! Twilight didn't also have them but I can understand that. I thought someone just ripped them off but there were no marks. Then I looked at the smaller one and she also didn't have wings. What the...

I bought the large wingless Rainbow Dash (She's still adorable and sooo soft x3), she had a tag wich said she was made by a company called: Play by Play, and she's officially licended by Hasbro in 2013. It was kind of weird seeing them in a Famosa box though...

I did a bit more research to the company but it seems they are bankrupt or somth.  If someone knows more information about these plushies. Tell me!

Oh, I've just noticed some of these fluffy haired critters recently listed on ebay.
There appears to be Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie all as earth ponies and all available in 8" and 12".

"Play by Play Toys & Novelties Inc." went into bankruptcy between 2001 and 2006.
"Play by Play Toys & Novelties Europe, S.A" appears to be still going.

Well those girls are interesting! I am guessing they are sticking with one pattern for the line - more than a little lazy.

Found out a little more - the company has been part of the Famosa group since 2006 which ties in with the Play by Play Toys & Novelties Inc. going bump. I am guessing Famosa bought them out and they now trade as Play by Play Toys & Novelties Europe, S.A.
