How do you rehair G4 ponies? And where can you buy the hair?

I have a feeling there's probably already someplace on this site that can tell me this but I'm rubbish at browsing forums

Basically some of my more uncommon G4's have haircuts, and instead of paying loads to replace them, I thought it might be better to rehair them instead. Thing is it looks so fiddly, how do you do it? And where do you buy hair in the first place?

This video helped me out when I was learning to rehair. I get my hair from retrodolls,  either their US site or the UK one, since it's good quality, they ship quickly and deliver worldwide. The UK site usually has more stock then the US one, though.

there are some really good tutorials pinned over on the Customs board; I liked aeracura's FAQ posts listed. I used dollyhair, and she has a picture tutorial on her website that helped as well. My husband made a rehairing tool for me with a sawed-off needle and an exacto handle.

I have only rehaired one pony so far (LOL), but I think it turned out pretty successful--my 4yo loves her.
