sellers have you had this silly problem before...
« on: April 25, 2014, 04:17:39 AM »
Back before my crazy work day while liveing at home when I had more time to myself I sold on ebay A LOT! Anywho I was rembering all the people who I sold to and replied to. I rember takeing a picture of my MLPs for sale in front of my display case where my own collection was. Well in my listing I would quote in the tidle 'My Little Pony LOT of 4! Sugar berry, Cotton candy, Wendy, Sweet tooth,. In my discreption I would say ' Lot of 4 ponies. This auction is for sugar berry, cotton candy, wendy, sweet tooth. The ponies in the background are my personall collection and not for sale. They are for my photo back drop. Ect' anywho. I'd atlest get a comment a day or so asking about the rest of my collection like ' are you selling this pony behind the glass? 'I will offer $20 for that!' 'Is it for all the ponies?' 'How many ponies do I get'. Clearly I had stated many times that they are not for sale and some people just didn't flat out get it. Nedless to say I quit useing my collection as a back drop to lesson confushion and explaining that was already stated. And or going back and forth with someone that wants to try and get something for nothing Pfff.. $20 hah! Any way share your experences like this. What selling trobles you? Funny stories?

I sold a mini Blind Bag mini set  not long ago on ebay and received a neutral :(. The buyer stated that the ponies were too small. I laughed so much about it and replied , the size was clearly stated on the listing :) and I guess the word MINI did not compute on their brain :( lol

I've only used plain backdrops for this very reason. People don't read the description and think they're getting whatever is pictured :P I once had a Barbie doll in a pic for comparison size, but stated in huge, bold red words that the Barbie was NOT for sale ;)

But yeah, definitely don't put anything in the background that's not for sale so it won't confuse buyers! So many people don't read descriptions for some reason
