Can anyone contact Maycrestmom?

I've tried pming her here, an email I had, and a phone number from a while ago. No dice. I sent her some very expensive ponies I had been holding for her two months ago.

I'm not worried about the money - I know she's good for it, and she had paid for most of them already. I just want to make sure the ponies got there and that she is all right. I know things got tough for her for a bit and I'm really worried.

That was in January. She was communicating with me past that point. Her last login was April 7th.

I seriously doubt one bad trade/transaction would cause her to quit the Arena. I do know she had some pretty upsetting personal issues going on, which is why I am concerned.

Maybe she's on holiday? Its been a couple of weeks from what you said about her logins?

Jadis I know you are obviously worried about her well being and I do hope things are ok with her. I don't understand though why the ponies would be sent out without full payment being made?  I know your intention was to not make that the issue but it makes me a tad nervous

Maycrestmom and I have been trading/selling ponies to each other since I've been collecting, coming up on three years. She has had major personal stuff come up and HAS COMPLETELY FALLEN OUT OF CONTACT. For OVER A MONTH. This is EXTREMELY out of character.

I DO NOT CARE ABOUT PONIES AT THS POINT. I am worried about my friend and mother of three. She's not on holiday, she's not ragequit because of one bad trade, she's not 'forgotten'. Something is really wrong and I want to make sure that she is ok.

So, really, unless your post is going to say something along the lines of, 'I have her number, let me text her for you', or 'hey, I have this email, I am pming it to you', or 'oh, I saw her at Target yesterday, she's fine', then I am going to respectfully request that you don't post anything at all.

I respect that you are looking for your friend, others are merely pointing out there has been issues in the past.  Perhaps leaving out that she owes you money and that you are genuinely concerned about her well being would have been a better way to express your concern.

Hopefully some one is able to shed some light on what has happened or knows her whereabouts.

Yay! Monica actually stopped by my house today. I am SO relieved it's ridiculous. Sadly, her major MAJOR family issues are still ongoing, but it was so great to see her and know that she's ok. She even brought me an Easter basket!

She's not quit the Arena or ponies or anything like that, real life is just kind of drop-kicking her right now and she just doesn't have the extra time or energy. But we were thinking maybe in the fall we could have a small MD/NOVA meet, just to get together and have fun.

And the ponies I sent did get there, she's very happy, and she had some lovely Shy Poses in the Easter Basket for the remaining value in trade, so everything is totally square with us.

But I'm really just more relieved that she's ok!

Y'all don't live too far away from each other, couldn't you have stopped by to check on her? With everything going on, she most likely would have been grateful for your concern and company.

Maybe y'all could make visits a biweekly/monthly thing. Take her to get a mani/pedi or ... some other girly stuff ... that girls do? >.>  (Lol, shows how many female friends I have!)

As the crow flies, we don't live too far from one another, but I'm in NOVA and she's in Maryland - it's probably a 90-minute to 2 hour drive. The only reason she was on my side of the river is that she had something to do in Virginia. She couldn't stay very long - had to get back on the road before traffic started!

Also, I'm disabled, so I don't get out much period. This is the first time I've seen Maycrestmom in over a year, maybe two. And Buddafly and I are getting together this weekend - first time since the fall, even though we do live just 15 minutes from each other...with no traffic. With traffic, it's probably 45 minutes. Crazy!

Luckily, there is the internet! And texting, now that I have a working number for her again.

I had a transaction with her a few months back and last I heard from her, she said she had some personal stuff going on, so who knows. It wasn't bad- she paid me and everything reached her and all, but it wasn't the prototype pony she thought it was, so she wanted a partial refund, which I agreed to, but she never responded. So I assume she went missing after that :\ I'm so glad to hear she is alright now though!!

I am happy to hear she is ok. Plus what a nice surprise that she made a point to stop and in and see you. I am sure it made you feel more assured that everything was alright with her that you got to see her in person.
