A Hollywood legend passed this weekend... RIP to Mickey Rooney.  What an amazing career he had spanning decades longer than most. He will be missed by his family, friends and fans.

While I'm not big into movies, I did see "National Velvet" many times...he did a wonderful job in that film!

I saw a few horse films with him in them including the Black stallion my favorite movie. Im sure he will be well missed. I appreciate his life's work in movies. He kept on going until the end. That in itself is amazing.

For me, I will always remember him as Mr. Cherrywood from the original Care Bears film.  Rest In Peace, Mickey.

Always sad when someone old school goes. I think I mostly remember him for the Black Stallion and the dreadful Mr Yunioshi in Breakfast at Tiffanys!
