Sky-pin and FlutterDie

So when I first made my pony Sky-pin I use to ship her with Fluttershy. Well after getting bashed on for it I considered making a brand new special somepony for Sky-pin was was still bummed at not being able to draw the lovely Fluttershy. I am slowly learning about other corners of the internet (besides dA, MLPTP, and the arena I really don't venture to other sites too often) and I stumbled upon tumblrs. People who have made "ask" blogs and stuff for ponies from MLP FIM that are kinda themselves but not really.... I don't know if that makes sense, but I'm talking about like the demon hunter Applejack, the bow Twilight, ect. So after looking at these other people's interpretations of FIM characters I decided you know what I wanna do the same for Fluttershy. I want to change her up but still kinda keep her Fluttershy sweetness.

Now I adore zombie ponies and I didn't come across any version right off the top so I decided you know what, Zombie Fluttershy can be Sky-pin's special somepony. Then I don't have to worry about people bashing for shipping Fluttershy and Sky-pin.

I have not gotten around to drawing her fully yet but I have been playing around with her ideas. I think I want her to be more of a Frankenstein  where she's more of a creature than a monster. :3 I wanted to call her FlutterDie.

I played around of MS Paint and kinda threw this together as her concept idea.

I apologize, I have no idea what i'm doing and I understand some people hate shipping and some people hate creating different versions of characters.....

I plan on drawing her and Sky-pin together soon and a comic of how FD was made....

I imagine Sky-pin reading about the elements of harmony and seeing Fluttershy and the other main 6 in the books and glass work in Princess Twilight's castle and kinda falling in love with FS thinking she's adorable.

Sky-pin almost becomes obsessed with FS reading everything she can find on her from history books. After finding that FS use to live on the edge of the Everfree Forest Sky-pin starts a hunt to find out where  and what ever happen to her.

Sky-pin meets several old magical creatures, including zebras, ponies, ect. I'm not sure how yet but I imagine Sky-pin stumbles upon some remains believing their FS and takes them to try to revive the pony she became so fascinated by in the books. Seeing how Sky-pin is not a magical unicorn and not completly understanding Zebra magic FlutterDie is what comes from Sky-pins experimentation. (Like when you read a book, imagine a character, create a whole story and look for them, it may not be exactly what the writer was trying to get across or what the character actually is, but its real to you and in a way that character becomes a new thing all on their own)

So FlutterDie is not really Fluttershy, but more of what Sky-pin has made of her. As for the bits and pieces, well once again, Sky-pin sucks at magic....

I dunno why my scanner stripped the colors on this, it bums me out!

I followed mainly pony askblogs back in the day, I even had two of my own.

I especially love the mane 6 blogs with a grimdark twist like Crapplejack and Insane Twilight. Also cute ones like Highschool Cadence and Dubtrot.

I'm sorry people were so rude about your shipping. Lots of people get flak for having OC's paired with main characters. I find it rather rude. If it's a minor no one will bat an eye but god forbid anyone pair them with a main character *sighs*

Your super cool new zombieshy will make a great match for her however.

No need to apologize here, I think I can say we on the Arena welcome all kinds of revamps and pairings of ponies, canon or non-canon (just look at the Customs forum to find some awesome alternate versions of Hasbro ponies, for example ). Your ponies, your imagination! People should be respectful towards others even if they don't care for someone's designs or pairings.   

That said, I like the zombie spin you put on her! Somehow it just adds to her slightly awkward character. Great job on the colouring, too.
