Back in the day, I remember seeing a Ladybird on eBay auction for $300. These were early days and this was probably one of the first few Ladybirds that were around in the 2nd hand market. I remember saying, and this is a direct quote, "well she's pretty, but that's a lot of money for one pony."  XD

Also wish I'd picked up more MOC G2s back when they were cheap, plentiful, and unpopular with most collectors. Now I have to get my head around paying more for them.

When G1s were out, I had in my hand Baby Leaper but my Aunt had told that I only buy ponies one place.. I soooo hoping that Baby Leaper were be TRUs but he wasn't BUT that day I end up going home that day 2 baby boys, 3 baby ponies! I still have those orginal 5 babies all yrs later!

I missed out on Jolly because I didn't set a maximum bid and some sod outbid me at the last second. I feel like I should have put more effort into securing her as I've never seen her since

All of the watercolor baby sea ponies MOC when I saw them in the store in the early 90s!  I did get Wavdancer, but I wish I would have grabbed them all.  Also a Surprise Twins Mummy with both babies on ebay for $50.  I was short on cash at the time, but wish I would have gotten her *facehoof*

I can't recall exactly when this was, maybe two years ago when I was trying to decide if I wanted to get back into collecting, but someone had a gorgeous lot of all the TAF baby ponies on ebay as a BIN for $120 that I didn't jump on quickly enough.   :argh:

I'm pretty sure they went to a good home (I'm almost certain another Arena member bought the lot), but I regret not buying them for myself......

I think I've done quite well. I had a nightmare of a time tracking down Cranberry Muffins and did overpay in the end but it's OK because I do love her.

Sometimes I have had to choose between two ponies and I think maybe I picked wrong!

Customs though - the number of times I've wanted to just splurge and haven't (for money reasons usually) - at least an officially released pony is likely to come up again!
