Is this Great Hair Highlights Bow Barrette?

Hi ponies

I have this green barrette, i've been all over the internet trying to id it, I *think* it belongs to Great Hair Highlights, can anyone id it for me? Below is a pic

I can't say for sure, I own that one but I didn't get it with any ponies so I can't say it belongs to her. I *think* the green one was also available with another toy. All I know is that the green one turns up a lot more often than the pink one.
Hopefully someone else knows more.

That defenitely could be Highlights barrette, is the colour in your pic true to life? It may be a teeny bit too dark, I think it should be more aqua.

It looks a little bit too dark to be Highlight's. Highlight's is a proper light minty green colour; this one looks darker than that. Do you perhaps have a picture of it in comparison to another item which may make it easier to tell the true colour?

I think you are all right - considering I have found another one! I have taken a pic next to the Perm Shoppe mint green comb

It is definitely mint green but too darker a shade - I also have two yellow ones! Any idea what they belong too?

Oh it does look a little too dark.

They came with a few fakie products over the years - some Hasbro released and some other manufacturers using the moulds for doll lines and similar. They were even released with some Takaras too. They pop up in a variety of different colours. I am not sure which item came with these colours unfortunately though.

I just realized that the Fairy Tail Birds playset "Curly Q Boutique" came with bow barrettes, in a green/blue color, could it be those you have there?
