I feel bad for not buying 12 hundred of her off Hasbrotoyshop when I got mine years ago, considering mine just sits naked in a taped up box somewhere, while some people would give their left leg for her. :/

She isn't a pretty pink princess is probably the main reason.

We are only 3 and a bit years into the line at this point with the 4th year part announced. We already know Rarity, Pinkie and Dash will be getting another FS size release this year [on top of the already releases Fluttershy]. I dont think we can say she is never going to be seen again. Sure, there is certainly a distinct lack of Applejack in general within the toy line but I really do think she will get another release at some point in the future.

They should just release Apple Jewel, AJ's stage persona
AJ for the AJ fans and a cute, frilly outfit for the princess fans.

With all the AJ threads popping up I am once again reminded of how lucky I was when I snagged that FS AJ for 30€. Back then I thought it was too expensive but now she sometimes goes for 100! Of course I wouldn't mind a re-release that is exacty the same as the first one. I still need some of her accessories and the new FS size is an ugly mold in my opinion (with weird eyes).
