New Furby plush question and Furblings
« on: March 03, 2014, 03:08:13 PM »
My daughter has three vintage furbies and one vintage plush. I was looking for information on the plush and stumbled across a new plush figure here:
http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/1078756.htm
I couldn't find any other information. Are these available in the US?

I also found Furblings. So cute! Anyone have one? I'm assuming they are pretty new. If you have one do you have a furby boom as well to play with it? We only have one from the first series of new furbies, so not a boom.
Thanks devonshireRed for the avi!

Hmm, link doesn't work for me. We have 4 new Furbies and one little one. Unfortunately the little one worked for about 5 minutes, then died forever. The small ones are much lower quality.

It looks like the furby plush was removed from the site. They were really cute and looked like small versions of the new furbies but with a unique pattern/color I think. I wonder if they'll pop up anywhere else.

That's good to know about the little ones. You're talking about Furblings and not party rockers or whatever they are called, right? Probably not worth getting then. Thanks!!

So they're just plush versions with no electronics, right? Look cute enough...

Oh, the one we have is a Party Rocker.

we have these plushies in our local Tescos and toy shops, so I don't think they are UK exclusives. it is strange thay they don't seem to be available in the US though.
they also come in various sizes, not only in this 14 cm-type (there are smaller and bigger ones too - the smaller ones had Valentines day exclusives too, one with wings. that was totally adorable!).
I find them pretty cute, and I wish I could have one, but they are way overpriced (at least on our shelves) for just a regular plush

I think the Furblings are adorable, I'm just annoyed that they are not actually like real furbies... you have to press a button on their head to get them to talk. Their eyes are also not animated, they're just lenticular and change as you move them. :(

They are still super cute though, and I'm going to get myself one, but I wish they were more like the bigger ones! I suppose you get what you pay for though, and these guys are very cheap.

Thanks for all the extra info Loona! I had no idea there were different sizes. Wish they would come here too! And melipuffles, i didn't realize the Furblings are like that. That's kind of a bummer actually. They are still cute though.
Thanks devonshireRed for the avi!
