What's the best way to pack up ponies with curly hair?

Found out I'm moving in April to another state.  Any tips on the best way to pack up ponies with curly hair do it doesn't flatten?

If its factory curl as long as its not completely squashed it should fluff back up ok. I would wrap them in something extra protective and that could act as a buffer like bubble wrap - that way there is "give" in anything which is pressing directly against the hair. Also make sure the hair is scrunched up tightly before you wrap them up. And of course try to ensure only a layer or two of ponies on top is going to be key.

With the girls I send off that have ringlet hair I use metal twist ties the type you tie up a food bag with. I split the hair into its coloured sections with the tail as the colours are usually mixed together I tried to either split them in there colours or at least into 4 sections  ^.^ . Then wrap a section around my finger then push it up together and tie it in place with the twist ties. Her mane kind of looks like a knotted mohican in the end hehe. I found this works really well hope it makes sense  :P dont have any pics atm I will curl up on of my girls tomorrow & shop you  :biggrin:
