Trader Dilemma - I don't know who to follow through with!

 I need advice concerning a tight situation I'm in. A while back, I posted that I had a Funko Pinkie Pie variant that I wanted to trade/sell. A member here PM'd me, saying that they were interested. I agreed to a trade with them, and they sent me their address and what days they could go to the post office. Life happened, and I couldn't contact them until weeks later. I apologized and stated that I intended to mail my end of the trade that week, and could they confirm that they were still interested. No response. I messaged them, saying that I could hold Pinkie for one more week. I said that I really didn't like having to hold them to a standard that I fell short of, but that I really wanted to get rid of Pinkie.

The deadline went by, and I contacted another member. They expressed interest in Pinkie, so I sent them my wishlist. I haven't gotten a response from the second trader since, and now the first one has finally messaged me, asking if I still have Pinkie!

Who gets rights to her, and what should I tell the one who doesn't?

Did you and the first Trader actually decide what you were trading for? Such as Pinkie for such and such? While I understand that something arose that you couldn't get her shipped, why was her part of the trade not sent. Or was it under the understanding you would ship first.

We decided on what they would trade me. But, they asked me to put tracking on the package, something which I didn't know how to do at the time. I refrained from giving my address because I didn't want them to send their end and me have no idea how to do as they'd told.

I would say then that you are obligated then to Trader #1.

It's really easy to have tracking added to your package. If your taking it to the PO to be shipped then just tell the clerk you need to add tracking or delivery confirmation. They will fix you up

I agree because of the unique situation where you didn't know how to ship it and didn't give your address. The first person should be the one you follow through with if s/he still wants it.

*nods in agreement with others*    In this situation trader # 1 should get the pony if they still want to go ahead with the trade. If they dont, then you can offer to trade with the other person.
