Desirable ponies and merch from G3 and G4?

So when I'm out pony hunting, I often come across g3 and 4 toys, plushies etc.

Apart from FS Applejack, who or what should I be looking out for?

Hopefully not the odd talking newborns.  They scare me.

I'm not really looking to make money - just help out with people's wish lists.  I just don't want to take a giant plush Pinkie Pie home and then no one wants her!

As for G4s, definitely keep a lookout for Blossomforth, Lily Blossom, Cupcake, Diamond Rose, Honeybuzz, and Plumsweet Actually probably most any G4 that isn't one of the main six or princesses because I'm sure there are some people that missed out on the other releases

I generally buy g3s if they're $2 or less (does that make me a massive cheapskate?) but I'll keep an eye out for the rare ones.

How much should I be paying for a non mane 6 g4?

And I see littlest pet shop stuff everywhere - worth buying to sell on?

You are not a cheapskate Starfall I will not even pay a dollar for a G3 in a thrift store. The fact is , g3s are so common and very very hard to shift from a sale list.

I think $2 is ok for a thrifted g3- as long as there are no flaws that can't be remedied by a quick once over with magic eraser and a bit of conditioning.

I will normally go $2-3 on any G4 non main 6 I find- a lot of them are worth $5 lose in good shape but there are also a few who hit the $10-$15 mark lose. I do pick up main 6 when they are cheap ($1) because I use them for customs constantly- same with blind bags

Littlest pet shop is harder. I picked up a whole bunch of these last year and ended up selling all the pets for .50 each -they did move fairly quickly, but I find most people want them complete with accessories. I had also picked up a bunch of vintage ones with there playsets and accessories and only got about $1 each for them and still have ones I could not move.

I agree - unless you are looking at something really hard to find - dont spend more than $1-2 on a G3 because you certainly will not manage to sell them for more than that and you also need to be prepared that some of those you pick up may not sell at all.

The link on strawberryreef is a good guide but to be honest almost all G3s bar some special releases and popular ponies hoover $2-5 in value.

As for G4, any pony which is not the main 6 will be popular and quick to find a home

Ehh, I'd say keep an eye out for set-exclusive ponies too like from the Favourites Collection. Not all countries have them and some people would be willing to pay for them.
