Crocheted Ponies
« on: February 19, 2014, 06:27:50 PM »
If you made one or had someone make one for you, what pattern did they use or what pattern would you recommend? My 3 year old loves stuffed animals and her ponies even more so, so I'd love to combine the two!  :)

I made a Granny Smith for the plushie swap using this pattern https://www.etsy.com/listing/112458105/crocheted-pony-amigurumi-mlp-plush?ref=related-2
I like the pattern for being more "generic" pony instead of the distinct FIM style tiny noses. I plan to make ponies of all generations at some point. It was a very easy to read and use pattern. I love that it includes patterns for accessories like princess crowns, Applejack's cowboy hat, and capes, two types of wing style and different hair styles.

I was just about to suggest that pattern. :) That's my friend's. She's great.

Awesome! I once tried to use a free pattern someone posted for this really cute style pony and it was a mess. The one by acrylicsheep may have cost a tiny bit of money but it was quite worth it for an easy to use pattern.
