i found a canadian toy dealer website called Ron's Rescued tressures and they're selling the above figure for $2.00

& i want it and one other $1 item

my question is

would it be worth 9.97 shipping to get the above item and visitors can't see pics , please register or login

side note: they've got that princess rainbow dash listed as a G4 pony

Sounds about right for the shipping price...  Canada has slightly higher prices than the USA.  :)

Remember, theres a good chance its going to come with insurance incase of lost or damaged parcel.  I don't know about buisnesses, but its *mandatory* for shipping out small packet (the standard) and is included in shipping.

ETA: Actually, $10 to ship something sounds about right.  I know its cheaper to ship to the states v.s. your own country and I paid about $15 to ship something with a similar weight 3 hours north of me...in my same Province ._.

If you really can't find these figures anywhere else (personally, I've never seen that Rainbow Dash before,) then you might as well. Here's what I do to decide if it's worth it:

First, evaluate the total cost - in this case $13.00.
Then divide total cost among items you'll be receiving - each figure would cost approximately 6.50.
Lastly I ask myself "If I saw these two items at, say, a thrift store, used toy place, etc for $6.50 each, would I buy them?"

It helps me every time. :)
I'll put something here some time

the princess rainbow dash i canlt find on ebay.  i tried three or four variations of a rainbow dash search.  without hte shipping 1.00 dollar is a really good price for cabbage figule because the pvc cabbage kids, when i look them up on ebay are usually around 8.00 plus shipping

Well, if you can't find the figure anywhere else, and you want it badly enough, you should probably get it. :)

If it's worth it to you, then go for it.  :).

The shipping cost sounds about average from Canada.

I dont factor shipping into value any more. If I did that when buying then some times a lot of things are no longer worth it. I have just come to accept a delivery price as a fact of life. :P

I dont know the price on the second item but the pony is certainly not worth more than the asking price. So as long as you want them enough, as long as you cant track them down any other way then I would say go for it! No matter where you find them, you are going to have to pay shipping, even if its within the US. So its maybe only $5 or so more than you would normally have to pay re shipping.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
