question about princess twilight from through the mirror

Hey guys. I saw throght the mirror twilight with spike and I noticed her wings were waaaaay off in color. Is this normal?

Twilight and Cadance have some strange aversion to wings that match their torsos.

I think the wings on g4 alicorns are molded separately and then attached into holes in the body, so it's probably just a case of it being a totally different, mismatched plastic batch. Which is unfortunately very common with g4's lack of quality control.

Wow that's quite the difference. I am aware that the wing colour seldom matches the body and its pretty standard but I think thats one of the most blatant. As others have said, moulded differently, different batches, formulas of plastic mean different colours

I think that one is on purpose as they have a gradient.

But oh noes horrible quality control.

Honestly, in that picture they match her body quite well and look better than the wings in her other releases.

trust me those wings a lighter than what the pic shows, I was in walmart when I took this pic and decided not to get her. I'm aware of the horrid mismach colors with these ponies but man I didn't think her wings would be THAT light... if she is still there tomorrow I might get her... I still don't have Twilight in that mold yet

But, I own this twilight and I have her in real life. :I

Mine has a wonky eye though that distracts me from everything else, flawed though and the colors don't botehr me at all anyway.
