To hope it's in Brighton again is a completely ridiculous aspiration :P so I'm gonna say I hope it will be in London/surrounding.....

I hope it's close enough for me to go to this year. I've never been and would love to see all the ponies and people. ..though I'm not very central being right on the south east coast limits where I can get to :(

As long as it's not in Ireland or Scotland, I'm sure I'd be able to go!

I'm really looking forward to going as I've never been before due to money issues. I have a couple of questions though.
Can anyone who's had a table before tell how much it costs, or the average amount it costs please?
And do lots of people stay in hotel rooms during the con, and does anyone share hotel rooms to split the cost?

a lot of people stay in hotel rooms. we usually do - as it is nice and convenient and a lot less stress. and lots of pony people around! yay! there are usually a couple of hotels to chose from - depending on where it is. and yes, rooms have been shared before to split the costs. Sometimes there is a thread popping up for room mates - or you open your own once the venue and dates are announced.

the stalls - difficult one. It depends if it is a one or two day event - on the general cost of the location/convention. I suppose it can vary a lot. In the past it was roughly around £40ish to have a stall for a day, maybe a little more. Please correct me if I am wrong. I think we usually end up paying round 65ish for a two day event for two and a little one (including a stall). But it might all be different this year.

Anyway hope, it helps.

xx

I hope it's somewhere accessible too. London would be ideal, since nothing ever seems to visit the south east :silly:

I'd like to be able to go, as long as it's not far away and I can persuade someone to go with me!

Its never going to get to Scotland - no matter how much I wish for it :P But northern or middle of England again would be good although middle England makes it possible for more people of course. At this point its pretty successfully covered all corners hasn't it?

I cant imagine how hard it must be to make a decision! Especially when you know some people will be disappointed.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I know!

I always hope for somewhere close to me (which is not too hard, because I am kind of in the middle anyway) - but I do enjoy traveling around and see different places.

I really enjoyed my visit to Brighton - but I think the lovely weather helped a lot!
And I enjoyed my visit to Sheffield at the time too!
I didnt really see much of Birmingham or Nottingham - but this is more to blame on our sometimes tight weekend schedules ;-)
Being to Cardiff was great too, but I did only see the city center, not much else - blame it on the hotel with a pool ;-)
And just to mention - London was great as it was sooooo close. Unfortunately it made me not stay close to the venue and together with the other pony fans. Saying this, that is the downside if it is close. You want to save on the hotel and you spend a lot of time traveling - instead you could be i good pony company.

I think that's my conventions covered ;-)

xx

Cardiff was hardly 'local' from the East of England ;) , but Premier Inn for one night doesn't exactly break the bank most of the time :bigups:
