It seems very strange that they would release Scootaloo with Rarity and not Sweetie Belle.  I am hoping that they will just release all three CMC.

In general it makes so much more sense for Rarity to be released with Sweetie Belle. But from a product point of view...I bet they don't want two ponies of such similar colours out at the same time. "Do you want the white unicorn at $30 or the white unicorn at $15?" Its cynical but I would bet if the rumour is true that's the reason for the odd match up.

This, or I am assuming Scootaloo came out more popular when they did their market research or the person in charge of making the final decision really liked Scootaloo?  Again, it's just something an employee told my friend so they could be wrong. I doubt they will release all 3 CMC at once, though, as that would take up a lot of room. I don't know what other BAB stores are like, but my closest one only has a single free-standing shelf-thing (I'm sure they have a proper name) for Small-Frys and their accessories and they usually have several different branded Small-Frys as well as their original characters. If you're on the fence about Spike I'd prolly recommend getting him as Scootaloo might be intended to replace him rather than be sold alongside him.

I wonder if the CMC will start at £8 like Spike did or go straight to £10...

At the end of August The new ponies are usually announced about a month or so before they are released so you have some time. Spike, however...I don't think I've seen many of those around lately, so I would maybe recommend getting him sooner rather than later (I seem to recall a thread where someone said stores were only getting small numbers of him compared to the ponies, too).

I could swear this is the same survey that's been out for a few months now. I distinctly remember the mouse question, and it does talk about Fluttershy and Twilight as not being released yet.
