Quest of the Princess Ponies - Watch it!

If you haven't seen this four-part G1 cartoon, I highly recommend it.  Very epic!  Menancing bad guys!  Cool magic!

Also theres something near the end that reminds me of the locked box from G4.  not to mention there's a "mane 6" in the story.

It also explains a question I had about the Bushwolly toys, I won't say what, in case you want to find out yourself.

Can anyone name the main six princesses for me?  I need to research their toys.   The white one is Tiffany.

Yeah it's a great story, I'll have to watch it again.  I know what you mean about the G4 Box, I can't believe I didn't think of that, good catch.

If I'm thinking of the right episodes, there's a goof towards the end I quite like, with two ponies (Wind Whistler is one, and I think the others Locket, but I'll check) I think they switch lines, and voices at the same time or something... again, I'll check.

The animation department gave one princess a blue mane and a red tail. That part cracks me up. Also in the very end Windwhistler and Locket are drawn very tiny compared to the princesses, like they're babies or something! LOL. Gotta love the animation errors. It was a fun episode overall!

Great episode! I think I have a guess as to what the Bushwoolie question is. I love seeing animation errors or voice over errors. Always make me smile...of course spotting errors in any movie can be fun...like the storm trooper hitting his head on a door frame in Star Wars  was funny

Oooh, I love that one! I love the princess ponies I wish they had had two pegs, two unis, and two earth though instead of one peg and uni. I love me some unicorns I always thought that was so sad when the little Bushwoolie fell off in the desert! I thought the show was going to end without him coming back

I love all the G1 episodes, but Quest of the Princess Ponies is one of my favorites.

If you liked that, I bet you'd probably also like The Golden Horseshoes. The ponies have to go on a quest to find the 4 golden horseshoes to save Mimic.

Somnambula (a witch lure's the ponies away and the Big Brothers have to go save them) and Flight to Cloud Castle (ponies help a young man rescue his true love from an enchanted castle) are also good "ponies on a quest" episodes.
