Uncommon Giant G3 and Mini G3

At a flea market in early Nov. I saw what looked to be a jumbo G3 MLP. It was about the size of the G1 plushes. Online I can't find any references to it. Has any one seen one of these? I didn't buy it because it was in bad shape and I didn't think I could fix it up.

Now on the polar opposite in size I have a Pinkie Pie that is also a G3, but it's completely plastic with it's legs formed together, and it fits in the palm of an adult's hand. What variation is this?

I believe those large G3s are known as "styling" sized ponies, there were a few of them. They're the G3 equivalent of Fashion Style G4s.

Off the top of my head, I can think of Rarity, Star Catcher, Cheerilee (early version where she's a purple unicorn), and Pinkie Pie. Probably there are more.

As for the Pinkie, my guess is it's a cake topper, or it could be a McDonalds Happy Meal toy (although I don't think their legs are molded together.) Does it have brushable hair, or molded? How tall is it exactly? Pics would be helpful.

You could always browse around My Little Wiki or Strawberry Reef to see if you can find what you're looking for, too.

EDIT: There is a page on Strawberry Reef for prize ponies, but the site is hot-or-miss as far as updates go, and that particular page suffers for it. However, if you search for individual ponies, you can find a lot of stuff. On this page, scroll down until you reach Pinkie Pie, a LOT of her merch figures have been listed there, maybe you'll find what you have!

Those suggestions sound like the most likely options

There were only 5 Styling size ponies - Cheerilee, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Star Catcher. So I am sure she would be one of those.

As for the small one, I agree a McDs pony sounds like the best option although there were quite a few incarnations of Pinkie in a moulded version throughout G3.

There is a Stylin' Rainbow dash too.  I've got 2 loose one that I bought for $3 and $5, and a couple MIB kicking around.  I had intended to bait the two loose ones, but they cleaned up way too nicely    Lol

As for the small ones, there were 3 packs of hard plastic ones for parties/cake toppers as mentioned.  I think I have Sunnydayz, Pinkie Pie, and maybe Minty or Rainbow Dash.

I'm sorry for not showing a photo earlier of the Pinkie Pie, but I have a bad connection. You wouldn't believe how long it took for my computer to simply access Photobucket.

Here's the figure in question along side a McDonalds Pony. Even though I've never seen the cake toppers, I do wonder if that guess is right (likely yes?).

Yes that is exactly who she is A cake topper - as BCD says there was also a Sunnydaze and Rainbow Dash.
