Question about EG Twilight Sparkle dolls.
« on: December 30, 2013, 08:12:45 AM »
Has Equestrian Girl Twilight Sparkle been released with the jointed arms and legs yet?
If so, which doll has them?

I used a zoom and they don't look jointed. it's kinda silly that they would only have partial articulation though but I guess since sunset shimmer was like that I shouldn't be surprised lol

Thanks, everyone! I was afraid of that. lol

I want a Twilight Sparkle doll but I don't like the ones without articulation.
I might pick up the Rainbow Rocks doll since she at least has the jointed legs. (Though her arms look totally goofy stuck in that position.) Otherwise I guess I'll just wait and hope that they eventually release a fully articulated Twilight.

I'm thinking all of the mane 6 will get 'deluxe' dolls at one point or another, cuz right now only fluttershy, rainbow dash, rarity and PPB pinkie are the only ones that have articulation and the extra outfit and shoes. so I'm hopeful we'll get a deluxe twilight and aj soon! (maybe even a proper pinkie pie w/o the black streaks?) :)

On the box, it says "Try me! Let's high-five!" so I assume that her arm is posed that way because it activates the singing function.

That's what I'm thinking, too. It doesn't make much sense to release four of the girls as deluxe dolls and leave out only Twilight Sparkle and Applejack. At least that's the logic that I'm sticking to until I get my articulated Twilight. ;)

I think part of the problem is that we consider deluxe dolls to mean the ones with articulated limbs but Hasbro is classing deluxe simply as the more expensive line. So the Rainbow Rocks line does have 2 deluxe dolls - Rainbow Dash and AJ - but neither of them are articulated.

I am sure we will get TS eventually fully articulated but at this point there is little pattern to when and in which aspect of the line.

I'm looking forward to getting a jointed Twilight- I really am not a fan of the non-jointed arms... and jointed legs are cool but not enough.
