POTD 12/29/2013 Baby Moondancer (pearly MO version)

Is she really called another name? I thought it was baby Moondancer haha.

I'm not a huge fan of the pearly ponies. She is still cute though!

  nope not often I say this about ponies but I really don't like the pearly ones. I do like her hair colour but not the paint job I am afraid

Yes, they called her Moondreamer. I'm sure I've seen adult Moondancer referred to as "Moondreamer" before also, maybe in the UK fact file..?

yeah the name difference can get a bit confusing, not much communication in the hasbro departments I'd guess. I have all the pearly babies and i like how they shook things up a bit in the colour schemes, Moondreamer was the only one to stay creamy white, Surprise got a pale yellow tint and baby Glory went lilac . I think if I had a spare adult Moondancer, it'd be fun to rehair her in that baby's shade.

She does get her proper name sometime sin some paperwork but in the most common one she is misnamed

I think the pearlized babys are pretty, but i dont want any of them. Rather have the 'normal' version or a nirvana/variation.

I want her. I love pearly babies, but unfortunately I have none so far (well, normal babies. I do have a pearly baby seapony ^^ )...

She's my favourite of the whole set. I like how she's been made closer to the original concept of adult Moondancer in the cartoon and illustrations. Hasbro actually gave her the "correct" colours for her symbols with the purple moon and pink stars. If I were to remake an adult Moondancer, I'll definitely make it in the likeness of Baby Moondreamer, with a purple streak of course!
