Well... I don't know if he's the best, but he is certainly my favourite - Prince John from Robin Hood!!

Ahhh, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I love that movie and most of it is due to Sir Peter Ustinov

Yah!!! I agree Ustinov's voice just totally makes him!! I love how scheming and childish he is  "Hiss! You're never around when I need you!"

GAH, it is SO HARD to pick between my two beloveds:

Maleficent, the Mistress of All Evil, and Ursula, the rightful Queen of the Sea!

They are both so so wonderful. Maleficent has style in spades, and a totally valid reason to be upset, and she can TURN INTO A DRAGON. Amazing!

But Ursula is a gorgeous, extra-voluptuous octopus lady, with an AMAZING song, and some admirable ambitions plus the cleverness to make them a reality.

They're both so powerful and independent, so beautiful, and have great love for their adorable pets, too. Two of my favorite Disney characters ever.

I personal don't see Hans as a villain but more as a spoiled kid that wants his way.

No Jafar?  He is Defiantly a top Villain for me always scared the hell out of me when I was little lol
No Cruella De Vill either?  She is pure evil! So elegant, but yet soooo evil.

Well I would pick those 2 then Ursula she also always scared the hell out of me lol, mum said there was always one scene I couldn't watch, haven't watched it in forever so I don't remember

Then I would have to pick Scar because he is just plain old evil.....

Hades! I always liked him My second fave would have to be Dr. Facilier (his song is awesome!) but the most evil is Frollo

I  don't consider Scrooge McDuck a villain Am I forgetting a movie where he was a villain?

I love Hades.  He's one part used car salesman, one part ambulance chaser lawyer, and James Woods' voice acting is top notch.  He was a fabulous choice and what a great decision the writers, directors, casting crew, and animators made with his characterization.

I only recognize about 5 names from that list. So from my 5 choices, I went with Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

I never like villains unless they manage to be humorous, nor do I really sympathize with them.
