Rehairs are fine, but not for me. I won't accept rehairs into my collection. They're fine for a temporary placeholder, but if I'm going to spend money on a pony I'm going to spend money on an original pony.
I hope someday we run out of those creepy looking things....LOL
However, some of them have had bodies that would have displayed fine, but people don't want them. Bags and boxes of these unwanted ponies are at the Fair every year and people don't even want to rescue them for $1
I'd just like to say that I HAVE seen people rehair ponies who had uncut, shiny factory hair still. I am completely fine with rehairs if the pony has a mohawk or even no hair at all! But it REALLY grinds my gears when no-haircut ponies get rehairs.Quote from: Roogna on December 10, 2013, 12:17:21 PMHowever, some of them have had bodies that would have displayed fine, but people don't want them. Restoring is definitely one of my favorite activities ever, even if it takes hours upon hours.
