Are you a set completionist or do you just buy what you like?

I collect the most I like! I think buying for me just for buy is a waste of money. So I prefer the ones I love most.

I buy, what I want or more specifically, what I can afford as many times my wants actually exceeds my funds.

I only buy what I like. I'm like that with everything. I have a lot of workout DVDs and I have no problem breaking up sets if there's a disc I don't like. Why keep something and let it take up space if I'll never enjoy it?

I tend to buy what/who I like. Ponies are kinda expensive sometimes and I need my money for other things right now. As much as I love ponies, I just like to use my money on those I think are cute or something like that.

I definitely do not have the room to collect them all.  Of course when I was younger, I wanted to!  But now I just buy what I like, and I have a rather short wishlist these days, so I guess I can consider myself lucky that my goals are attainable.

I used to be. Soon left that as I have just a small bedroom, and became more fashion/beauty orientated, and need room for all of that!

I agree with a lot of other folks, I'm a little bit of both.  There are sets that I adore and absolutely want the complete set, and others that I'm kind of "meh" about and only grab the ones I like, or skip entirely.

I just buy the ones I want. Although it's nice to have a complete set,I don't see the point in wasting my money on something I don't really want or like that I'll regret buying. I'm also trying to avoid getting too many duplicates of the Mane 6 in G4,if I completed all the sets I'd end up with like 250 Pinkie Pie's xD

I just buy what I like, although that sometimes turns out to be sets of ponies (like with the Mountain Boys).
