Which Mlp FIM ponies are only released in Europe so far?
« on: December 05, 2013, 05:56:39 AM »
As a G1 collector and a slight G4 collector,
I've lost the grasp over G4,
but I have realized how much they actually
raise in value when they are out of production.
I just saw Starswirl on ebay selling for $73 with 32 bids and
there is still 3 days left of the auction O__O
So I bought her at a swedish auction side mib for $31 at once.
And with opportunities like that I would certainly like to have a
better view over whats released over here.

Thanks for any help :)
lots of pony love! XD

I think so far it's Starswirl, regular Daisy Dreams and Rainbow Flash who are Europe exclusives. Daisy Dreams was recently sold in UK Toys R Us so she's definitely more common. Starswirl is still hard to find.

Remember that prices always inflate around Christmas as people buy things as gifts. Things should calm down a bit in January when everyone's broke from Christmas shopping.

they are not Europe exclusive, they are international exclusive, they came to the southern hemisphere too like Australia and New Zealand ;)

I beleive that the international-only releases are: Rainbow Flash, Star Swirl, Skywishes and Ploomette.

Yes, there is a Euro/International version of Daisy Dreams, with a hair pattern variation.  Here they are side by side:

Non-glimmer wings Ploomette is also "International" exclusive. I don't think there are any "Europe" ponies, as these ones listed aren't available in every country in Europe, sadly :(
Idly searching for: loose, good condition G4 Blossomforth, Starbeam Twinkle, Plumsweet. TTM Celestia doll's wings Within UK or EU only, please.
Will also take in Pretty Pony Club (UK magazine) fakies.

Isn't Sweetie Swirl also an international exclusive? At least the set with the extra wagon for her is to my knowledge.

There is four versions of Daisy Dreams, the first two being international exclusive (One w/ bangs and one without, both have cutiemarks on their left side.)  then there is the Toys 'R' Us exclusive one who came with Rarity (Different hair, cutiemark on right side.) and last but not least the new Kohl's exclusive one who comes with a rerelease of Twilight Sparkle's Twinkling Balloon . (Hair like the first two released, cutiemark on right side.)

There is also the Crystal Motion Twilight Sparkle who got more accessories but I am pretty sure the figure itself looks the same. ^^;
(The rest have already been stated.)

As others have said they are more international releases then Euro specifically and even then a lot of countries did not get them. Starswirl is particularly expensive because of them all she got the most limited release and she got it so early on that a lot of people missed out on her. Skywishes and Ploomette also turned up in only a few locations but they were later in the line and therefore a lot of people were aware that as "bonus" sets they were going to be international exclusives - plus a Taobao flood of both ponies via ebay helped a little.

I think the $70+ mark is high for Starswirl - if you look at an ended auction search she is about half of that in actual value. I think she is a $32-35 pony and likely to stay there for a while.

Rainbow Flash can run quite high sometimes, often up the same kind of price as Starswirl but not always as high.

But really Skywishes, Ploomette and Rainbow Flash are the only ponies which were not available in the US to date.

Hath is right, I sold 2 Starswirls about 3 months ago for $30 each. Hopefully those ponies will turn up on ebay by China sellers again.

Okay, it's nice to know I'm sitting on a potential goldmine. I bought that carriage set with Rarity and Star for 12€ and back then I thought that was expensive for just one G4 Brushie
