I had quite a few pepper plants that hubby planted this summer that made us scratch our heads as to why the end product was not what the label stated they'd be. Evil plant label changing gremlins...

It looks like a Jalapeno. They turn red after being on the vine for too long. Thats my guess, hope its helpful.

That happened to me once with tomatoes. I bought black cherry tomato plants and ended up with big boy tomatoes.

I found a visual guide to peppers and YEP that is what they are , super happy plant though, and way more spicy than a jalapeno.   Very very ticked off they are not dwarf bell peppers.

Yes this is true and it was what I was going to say.  My neighbor just gave up trying to grow peppers in her gardens because somehow they always cross breed with the hot peppers across the yard and boom you are on fire just eating a bell.

I did some research and jalapenos are about 3,500 heat units these little guys have 25,000 units. On top of that the smaller they are the more heat they pack. At least it is a happy plant now I have to find something to do with them.
