Show me: NC Cherries Jubilee =PHOTOS ADDED=
« on: December 12, 2013, 07:57:32 PM »
Hi all!

I have recently bought a NC Cherries Jubilee and I think her symbol is kind of different. I still have to give her a beauty session and so, but I'll post pics ASAP.

Meanwhile, I'd love to see all your Cherries!!

Thanks for sharing!

Oh I like this version - I like the Spanish eye colours on CJ better than her normal release.

I only have her UK/Euro release as a little out of the ordinary not something as lovely as her NC version. Hopefully someone has pictures soon.

ow I wish i did have a pic! I got mine accidentally, a seller (non-collector) threw her in as a surprise with three other ponies i won. She isn't flash, with stringy hair and some marks but i like her dusky hair and beautiful eyes. Nice surprise i say!

Here are some photos of the pony. She is in the beauty saloon, so I've only taken pics of her symbols and hoofs.

I've been searching the web and I've seen other NC Cherries and I think mine is a bit different, but I'd love to hear your opinion.

Here are the pics:

Hoofs: No markings. The body color is like tanned. Not light pink. I doesn't seem to be de-coloration, the color is the same all over the body and in the inside too.

Symbols: For what I've seen, the most common Cherries has pink cherries and light green stems. Mine has red/dark orange cherries and blue stems.

So... what do you think?

EDIT

Here are the pics I promised! ^^ The eyes have lost color during the cleaning session... But I don't think I'll repaint them for the moment.

The tail washer is Spanish :) I just restored a piggy cotton candy and her tail washer was identical.

Her symbols are very different, they are normally pastel colours!

Yes, the symbols is what made me buy her. I have a collector friend who has one like this one and it's from her childhood. So I guess there might have been more than one variant. I'd love to know if the pastel Cherries have this type of washer too or if they have the round ones.

I understand why you bought her. If your friend has one from childhood it proves she genuine :)

I must admit that her symbols remind me of Argie cherries!

Gosh what a vibrant colour on her symbols in comparison to all the ones I have seen before. :) I have only ever popped the head of one specifically Spanish pony - a Dancing Butterflies who was in horrendous condition - and she had that funny clamp as well. But I have never encountered the same clamp on any of the dozen or so no country Sundances I have. I am guessing its a release thing again perhaps depending on where sold and when manufactured? It would be interesting to find out if the pastel symbol CJ has the clamp or not.

That would fit :) I've had the head off many Spain and nc ponies, but only encountered that washer a few time!

Yes, me too. I think it's the washer used on the first releases of MLP made in Spain. Because the later ones I have encountered have the normal one.
