Being a aunt is great.  You get all the joy of the child, but without having to do the "parenting".  I have two nieces and a nephew and they are so much fun. Audrey the oldest loves Applejack.

Everyone is very excited except for my dad who is taking it very hard.  Apparently he had quite a few wines last night and sat there repeating "oh no, eww yuck" all evening.  I called him this morning and asked whether he would be granddad or grandpa or something else.  In his sternest voice he told me he did not wish to have that conversation with me.  I'm sure he will come around eventually.

And I adore my brother's partner, just so you all know how great she is, she was going through some old boxes the other day and found all her childhood petites which she is sending my way!

It's my older brother - the one you've met.  Thank god lol - my younger brother's favourite hobby is drinking beer and putting the drunken photos on Facebook.  Don't think he's quite ready to be a dad yet.
