GCPCC 4: Poll and questions

So the question for this next GCPCC chanllenge, is do we want a uniform look, meaning all the wings look like they wewre made the same, or should it be easier on the artiststs and have them be the already made G4 wiongs, a combination of the styles or what?

ALSO please reply to the following question below:
WHEN should the next challange start and end dates be?

A.Start the challenge/sign ups in the next few weeks but have the deadline be toward the end of january
B.start the challenge/sign ups after the holidays, and have the deadline be in February
C.start the challenge/sign ups in the next few weeks but don't have the deadline until after January

How it works is
-there are 16 slots for customs ( for this challenge, it would be one for each original Big Brother & Mountain boy, each slot only goes to one individual customizer.)
 --The customizer creates said custom, and supplies pics by the given deadline.(check in deadlines/pics would be worked out later
--- Within a week of the deadline, the collage is created where we show off ALL the customs together in one colassally awesome picture similar to the catalog pics Hasbro made back in the 80s

...individual customs can be shown off in seperate threads, with close ups etc. AFTER the collage has been posted.

The custom you make is yours to do with as you please after it's been used in the collage, keep it for your collection, sell it, donate it, whatever, basically you are creating it to be part of a bigger picture and nothing more, nothing less...

While I do like creativity I think for the purposes of the photo I'd rather see them all be regular G4 Pegasus wings.

I may be interested in joining in this one too.
Is it wingers or flutters or both? I'm out of he loop with theses challenges, lol.

I hope you can joion us! I'm going to start with fluitters first then when/if all those get signed up for and if there's demand, we'll ad the wingers...unless there's some strong objections to the contrary

I agree that keeping it to just g4 wings would keep it more uniform.

I think I'd be up to joining the challenge I would really love to do a winger but totally down to do a flutter as well

I put some other kind of material mostly cause I don't know if everyone would be able to make replicas (I know I couldn't even after looking at tutorials) and plain transparency with fantasy film would look ok.  I would strongly second the pegasus though.

If possible and not too much work have one person make all the wings to keep them uniform and like the original? and perhaps everyone could pay for the shipping and material cost but no profit on them.

I would be interested in doing this one as well, I think that going with the G4 Pegasus is the best way to make them all uniform, not everyone knows how to make wings and although getting 1 person to make them all would seem ideal, that's a lot of work for their time and energy and no pay off to them, so I don't feel that would be fair if they weren't making a profit.

I think that if signups are in the next few weeks that the deadline should be end of January at the earliest

I think for consistency I agree on regular wings, or  maybe buying replicas, I know of an ebay seller who makes wonderful reps, but theyre like 10 bucks a pair or something like that. been a while since I looked them up so im fuzzy on prices.

as to deadlines, I vote the latest possible duedate, what with holidays and stuffs. (and laziness) and signups soon cause I wanna see whos doin what =P curiosity!!!
personally id kinda like to see wingers in their own challenge, cause I think they need butterfly wings to BE wingers, which would look goofy with flutters having regular or clear wings. just my two cents.

eta: just looked u the wing seller. their ebay name is a8aglaia. don't see any up atm but theyre always making them. just an option. (ive been meaning to order a mess of them for my wingless flutters, but I keep putting it off. =P)
