How do you arrange your ponies?

By year and then by set, with some exceptions depending on space. Its the only way I can track a pony down if I am looking for a certain one.

I'm going to guess 'everywhere' isn't a proper answer, but really that's how it is right now.
Not my fault obviously, they get wander off and hide. Yep. Lets go with that.

My G4 and G2 have separate shelves, both of those are displayed by year.
But my G3 and G1s are displayed together by colour! ♥

However, I have set the G4 royalty in a section all to themselves.

I picked "other", but some I guess is by "set" in places. I have them divided by gen, and then babies and adults are separate (for spacing). G4s are organized by set/release for the most part (may change in the future as more come out). It's pretty random aside from that.

Mine are by set, but I do have one media shelf with some favorites from their shelf. For example, Night Glider, Mimic, and 7 Tales characters Melody are on a shelf.

And one I've been asking myself .
Since moving from Europe to America this summer most of them are in semi open boxes lol
I've not got anything to put mine on so I'm looking for something cheap ish but steady,

Showcase each pony! In My room there are like twenty little shelves.... adding more as ponies come, each pony can be veiwed, trick of it makes your collecton seem more vast...and you can really see the ponies! I see a lot of collections where they have all the ponies all crammed together, I have mommas and baby shelf, twinkle eye shelf, flutter shelf, it makes fore a nice quite place ...ill often get lost in my room just lookin at ponies!

I don't have any dedicated display space so I have my Majesty and Galaxy out, they are both great looking except for a couple of faint cancer spots I've treated and I'm keeping an eye on. The rest of my collection have been cleaned inside and out and thoroughly air dried over the summer and they are wrapped in tissue paper inside paper grocery bags tucked in corners. I bought the mane 6 the other day and a few other G4's and they are dotted about by my bed but I'll have to put them away soon.

G1's are kind of displayed by set. But then it depends on where I have room so some get separated. They're kind of randomly thrown in some spots.

My ponies are arranged by generation and then where they can fit. Or if they're a G4, by type (brushable, McDonald's, or blind bag) and then by who I think would get along (though Diamond Tiara is with the CMC right now because those are the only fillies I have...)

I've had them arranged all of those ways. They were by set longest so i picked that one.

My ponies are mostly shelved haphazardly -- there are G1s and G3s all together on the same shelves (along with the two G2s I own). The ones that are grouped in some specific way are grouped by pose, though.
