Mommy Sweet Celebrations
« on: October 02, 2013, 03:01:40 AM »
I got a lot of ponies, including italy Snuzzle with blue hearts, Music-Time, italy Blossom (which is turned into greyish colour), Pony Bride and two Mommy Sweet Celebrations. The other one's head is different coloured than the body and the other is NC, at least I can't see any other marks on her hooves than "Hasbro." I think I'm keeping the NC pony but what to do with the other one?

I have no idea is this pony wanted and people would buy it even with head lighter than the body. Or should I custom it?

(Sorry for these questions, even though I've been collecting ponies about two years, I still have no any idea of the value of the ponies outside of my wanted list, and sometimes their values escapes me too... )

I don't think Mommy Sweet Celebrations is uncommon, but if all she's got wrong with her is a head/body mismatch then I personally wouldn't customize her. It's a pretty small flaw and I don't think it would affect her value too much. I'm a pretty picky collector and I don't really mind the head/body mismatches given that they don't have any other flaws. How are her symbols? If they're perfect, I definitely would leave her as is. :)

There is small cut across her symbols, over two balloons, like done with sharp knife.

Both those things you listed really depend on severity, so a picture would really be best if at all possible :) I've bought some ponies that were described as having head/body mismatch, and to this day i just don't see it :P

What are her hooves stamped?

I do not think her condition is too bad but she is also rather easy to come by.

She is a relatively common enough pony and even when in lovely condition is surprisingly unpopular and low on the price range.

Her body looks as though it is perhaps badly yellowed in comparison to her head. I would be tempted initial to offer her in trade for an actual bait rather than bait her directly. And if you get no interest then perhap reconsider. Its just that if selling I dont think she is worth more than $2.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
