Can someone please help?
 
I've recently acquired a Glory and 2 Moondancers who need a bit of a symbol retouch. They're not completely missing there glitter so I have a template and a sort of colour match to go by, but what's the best kind of glue to use and method to re glitter the symbols.  I've ordered very fine craft art glitter to match in rather large bags as I expect it's going to be messy lol

I've not re-glittered a pony but I have done customs with glitter. I paint over the symbol with a nice layer of Mod Podge and then gently dump on the fine/super fine glitter.
Do it over a piece of paper so that you can pour the excess glitter back in the container.

I actually mix the extra fine glitter into my gloss sealant and paint it onto the pony. It works amazingly well and the glitter doesn't shed off at all. Since the sealant is glossy, the glitter doesn't lose any of its shine. You can use multiple coats if needed too.

It's pretty awesome.  She uses it for her glitter ponies (have you seen her G4s?!)  and I love it.  A lot more control.

i do it the same as sweetlittlejenny, after it's dry i brush the excess off and seal it with more mod podge. fold the paper underneath in half then smooth it back out to make pouring back into the container easier. i have a couple to more still to do, and will be trying kaoskat's way next - the other way tends to be a bit raised.

Yep, I used this in gold for the symbol on my G4 Starshine for the group collage and it worked out very well.

I got at least 4 ponies to do.( medley, glory and 2x Moondancer)  I love learning the techniques to restore my childhood ponies.  Got to try rehairing at some point!
