Why.. Im hooked now!

I really liked barbie when i was a kid. but then i grow up and i didn't like barbie or other dolls at all.
i didn't even like monster high when they come. and i said "never dolls". i did have some barbies from my childhood but no more then that.

now.. im hooked...
i want to collect barbie and mh.

ohhh no!!!

anyone feels the same?

Tho i was always someone who loved dolls.. i swore up and down .. NO MONSTER HIGH!!
I told ever one that i was NOT going to buy them..
Then my peeps three bdays ago got me the original draculara... OK.. shes a perky GOTH.. i mean.. seriously!
I love it!
then i was HOPELESSLY hooked..
the hardest one to find so far was spectra.
I got stupid lucky the other day and got catty and put her on layaway.. ::shakes head::
and holiday barbie.
cant wait to pay them off!!

I was never a doll fan at all apart from Cabbage Patch and Living Dead dolls as they didnt really look like dolls! Then I found Monster High and now suddenly I have dolls of all sorts and still going!!! I need a bigger house! haha

Oh tell me about it .... we had a small MH collection in this house but they belonged to my husband and he had like, 7 or so and I just had Sweet 16 Draculaura who he bought for my birthday last year (Yay! Perky Goths!) as I had said that I liked them... but was not going to get into collecting another line (I collect vintage dolls, MLP, breyers and other model horses).

now I find myself MH obsessed, trying to make clothes for them, I have acquired a Clawdeen Wolf and a CAM as my own and a Rochelle Goyle, and I have also discovered Ever After High and now own Apple White.

What holiday Barbie did you buy RosePrincess? I am a big Sindy collector but thats a slow growing collection - I just buy what turns up at car boots and charity shops which isnt much these days. But I got a 1970s Sindy and along with her a 1980s Barbie who I am now trying to find clothes for. I cant find my childhood Barbie. I found Ken, and her clothes - wheres she gone??!  I had her in the last house we lived in..- surely she didnt get lost in the house move.....

I loved dolls as a young girl. I didn't think I was going to collect them as I grew older, and didn't think MH would be this slippery of a slope. I have over 100 MH dolls now.

I've just started getting into Barbie.  I just spent $90 on a Barbie!! Ouch!

And now I'm looking at other (read: more expensive) dolls! Like this one!

It was my sister who collected dolls... not me!   But this year... I've been all about the dolls.  I don't know what happened. What happened???
