Complet set or not?
« on: September 30, 2013, 01:44:59 PM »
Hi,

I'm wondering if i should keep all my blind bag ponies. I have set 1, 2, 3,4 (but not the boys, I don't like them), set 5, for set 6 I only have the three with 3D symbol, set 7 (idem not the boys).

Now I'm thinking that in the set 1 and 2 and some more I could maybe sale some of them, there are some that are a lot look alike. But should I keep them to have the whole set? I don't have the whole set for each, so maybe I could sale those I found less interessing?

What collectors here think? Collect all the set, or not?

Thanks for advices dear fellow ponies collectors!

I think if I was setting out to collect blind bags then, as a completionist, I would want them all. :P

However I also believe that you should only collect what you like and what you enjoy. If you dont like or dont enjoy some of the ponies then I dont see any need for you to collect them. Only collect what makes you happy.

There are so many! D: I never wanted to collect all of them, just the ones I liked. The default, non-helpful answer is that you should do what you want, but in more detail, consider how much space they'll take up, how much each will cost, etc. If you run out of room to display them, are you okay with storing them, or at least storing a lot of them and keeping out your favorites? If I were collecting them, I'd want them all too. But it's a personal choice. If you don't like boys, don't collect the boys. :)

Those little characters add up!  I didn't realize how much until recently.  I have some sets that are complete and others I just pick and choose my favorites from.  Most of my doubles went to my niece.

They take space that's true, even if they are tiny ! I don't display my G1/G3 collection, becaus eof space and because the cat want to kill them all, she's jealous.
I do have two Funko and one G4 (Zecora) on a shelves, far away from the evil beast. And she's not interest of the BB, too tiny I think, so I can display them. But I don't have room for all of them.

Thanks everyone, I think I will store those I don't fancy as much as th eothers, and see from that if I keep them or not.
