That is a wonderful story tapdancer.. glad your mom got them for you.
My aunt went out of her way to get these... cus she wanted me to have a good bday since it was the first with out my mom.. who passed last year.
so i was pretty happy and shocked! I mentioned these and that i loved them and then i get a lil orange thinger in the mail on friday... sayin' y ou have a box ..come pick itup.
much to my surprise heh. I had daffodil and rose petal as a kid.. i dunno what happened to them but i do still have her lil car..its cute. now i can put it with my new ones!

and they are in excellent shape  Ianthe99 ... orichids head is a lil off color but other wise they are perfect..a nd do in fact fiantly still smell!

thank you again every one.. I had a really good bday.. it was about amonth ago.. but my aunt had these on hold some place and just now got them

Those dolls are lovely. I always liked Rose Petal Place, never had any of the dolls though, just a few books and a couple other things as a kid. I always find she is one of those "forgotten series" dolls/sets. Congratulations on getting such a nice bunch of them.
