Stock Market AHHH

Alright, so I'm sick of my savings account getting less than a quarter of a percent of interest...so into the stock market I go.

What kind of things do you guys look for?  High dividends?  Growth stocks?  I'm kind of torn between what I want my aim to be.  My dad focuses on high dividends since he'll be retiring soon...but I'm not sure.

Anyone have any Hasbro stock?  LoL 

My Dad was watching Tesla for, like, the past year or so...and kept watching and watching...but never bought.  It went from about $25/share to $160/share over less than a year.  The scary part is, I don't think there's a particular reason why... lol. 

Anyone have any cool stock market stories to tell? - Either for the good or for the bad?

I totally agree with you on the poor interest you get for a saving account.  The world is set up now that you should spend that money and not save it. I don't even get .15 cents for mine and I have a lot in there!

As for your other questions I am no help there. I have not ever looked into it. I wish you luck with it all

Not my thing..it confuses me.

I am on a slow and steady/low risk plan though and over the years ive seen a steady increase^^  I..just let the bank do the migraine-inducing work for me o.o Maybe one of these days il try to learn how to read things.
