Sky Dancer has something on her-may be cancer?

Hey guys! I bought this gal a while ago from a member. She was in "bait condition" I think, but I didn't mind because she was the FIRST G1 I would have since childhood!! I have 4 now and I couldn't be happier. (Even with my sales going on I won't give my G1s up, not that they are in the best condition anyway)

So I was reexaming Skydancer and found this? I think its cancer? Can I do anything to help her out?

I think that might actually be glitter rust, as seen on just about every glitter-symboled pony I've ever seen. But I'm never quite sure, so hopefully someone else can give a solid answer!

Yeah, looks like glitter rust to me too my sky dancer has it too

Oh I haven't ever heard of that! She does have it on both symbols, but also on her tummy, wing, and leg.

I've been experimenting with rubbing acne cream on a nasty Confetti with glitter rust, but I'm a risk taker.  Don't try this at home!

The spots on the rest of her body may very well be cancer! Do you have more pictures for diagnosis?

I have a Majesty in the same condition, and I am sure its glitter rust rather than any kind of mould or plasticiser break down. She also has the patches on places other than her symbol.

Unfortunately I am going to say that I think its cancer/age marks. It has probably been caused by an issue with the glitter starting the break down in the plastic itself but I do think from the colour and positioning, not to mention that you say she has them elsewhere on her body, that it is cancer. I am so sorry to say that we don't have a way to cure it as yet...pony science has not cracked it too date. But I am sure she will still look lovely on display.
