My First Repinking Job!

Hey everyone! A month or two ago, I received Posey in really good condition. Smooth mane and tail, no rust, no marks. Worst thing was really just some slight rubbing to her symbols and her hair was no longer pink, it had faded to a very bright white, with no traces of pink left. So, I repinked her using what I had on hand-- Red hair dye, and conditioner! I used the conditioner to dilute A DROP of the red to a pale pink color, and once happy with it, I applied it to the hair, and didn't rinse. I dunked her hair in water, and combed out the residue, and then ran it through a dry washcloth until MOST of the dye was out. If I did rinse it thoroughly, basically all the color would come out. And she looks amazing now!:

Thanks so much! It was 10x easier than I expected! Didn't think the dye would take, but I got lucky! :lovey:

Thank you! I'd recommend using a tiny paintbrush to get to her 'roots' if you use the same method I did! ^-^

With this method, if it doesn't work out, you can usually just wash it with soap and it will eventually turn back to it's original color. Or, just make sure you first try it on a really baity pony hehe. ^^ I tried it on Lickety Split and it came out really dark, so I'm gonna have to fade it again with some shampooing.  :good:
