Pink Spike?

Hey all! I have a funky lttle pink Spike I'm wondering about...he isn't just a little pinkish instead of purple, he's bubblegum pink all over! Is he just a victim of plasticizer leakage, or is he a possible varient? Thanks for your help!

He must have been made by girls. Girls LOVE pink! They love it so much, it is all they think about. It's actually why MLP has done so well as a brand. By making so many pink ponies and ensuring that non-pink ponies have at least SOME pink SOMEWHERE, Hasbro is effectively making sure that girls and women will HAVE to buy them. They can't resist. It's pink. I bet your pink Spike is one hot little item. Treasure him.

Hahahahahaha!!!! No, it's a G1 Spike. My computer is acting up again so it won't let me even access the internet (on BlackBerry right now, thank goodness) Let's just say he honestly looks like a wad of chewed pink Spike shaped bubblegum!

Thanks ChipsteRJ, i knew there had been a thread about it, but wasn't able to find it! It's interesting all the different shades he is...I'm going to chalk it up to factory variation and nothing super special...but perhaps i'm wrong...

I am still in the variation camp rather than him being the Lavender DC version but there are very much too camps of belief on it
