honestly and this is going to  sound harsh  but htere ar going to  be other   thoguths out thre other then the positive ones.  and first and foremost eveyone is entilted to there thoughts. so if you like them good for you! i HATE EG. simple becuae i like the ponys.. i odn't really like dolls and to me this is just a Rip off of monster high.. HAsbro   saw how well they did  and diecded oh we have to milk this for all its wroth so boom they   make monster high   excuse me  Equestria girls.. 

i have not bothered to see the movie.. nor do i care to i have acutly seen the dolls and hoenstly i'm not imprsssed.. at all.. instead of making us a nice pony. its clear   the diection hasbro is taking this blind bags and pony dolls..  i  had thought we'd get some nice ponys but nope.

I'm feelin' a toned down version of the first option. I enjoyed the movie, and I think the dolls are interesting. I might even get a few of them. Not sure though. Okay, I probably will get a few.

I thought the movie was decent and the dolls are alright.

I think I let my expectations get colored by fan output more than I should have.  There are some great writers and amazing custom artists out there that, combined, would have made EQG be the spinoff of my dreams.  But, alas...

Oh yes, I agree, our community has so many more ideas, creativity, and talent than what we are getting from Hasbro right now, in my honest opinion.

I love all the new girls. I am not buying any of them tough, but i cant wait to see the movie.

Hmmm...kind of a tough one.

I will admit that I would 100% have preferred Hasbro put the effort, investment, money and creativity into ponies and not into the humanisation of the line. I dont have a problem with EQG, I dont mind that it exists as a mini spin off but I am not a particular fan of the toys or of the movie. I will pick up a couple because I love Pinkie and Rarity and will purchase their variations here. And perhaps if the line was better done I could be swayed to like it a little more.

Um.....Its ok but I will always be a pony girl. My daughter got the movie and we just watched it. It no different but they are in human bodies. They have the same personality.  I will not be buying any of them.
